My wife and I come here to have our toes done. We're treated perfectly. It's nice to be able to have a drink and some food while we're here - it's almost like a bit of an outing for us!
The previous time we came they sent us to another place, further away. The only grudge I have is that there used to be a drop in clinic run out of Mount Gould which I used to use - the staff were great, really good. But then I popped back in once and they said we no longer do drop ins.
No problems with staff though, everyone's brilliant they are. My son's come home to look after us.
My wife has been having cancer treatment and care for a dislocated hip at Derriford. Unfortunately the communication between departments has been poor. We also think the communication with us hasn't been great. One of the gripes we have about Derriford is that visiting times on my wife's ward is 3pm, but the doctor comes round at 10am. My wife has forgotten everything they've said by the time we arrive, and we have not been able to get hold of a single doctor in all the times we've been there.
