I just wanted to say how brilliant my recent experience of patient transport was.
I am blind, and the service and support I received was second to none. Norman the driver came to pick me up, and I was able to take my mum with me. He escorted me from my front door to the car, and then from the car right to the reception desk at the other end, being friendly and chatting all the way. He directed my mum to the waiting area, and the waited for me to finish my appointment, taking me all the way back to my front door again.
I really felt like he thought about my needs first at every stage. Wonderful.
