Two 15 minute appointments for test results and surgery scheduling - although helpfully discussed potential for saving ovarian tissue (now facing removal of second ovary (in mid-20s), no real discussion or offer of option or contact for counselling or support prior to surgery regarding emotional impact, particularly after experiencing issues following loss of first ovary when in teens.
Difficult to understand as this is a huge issue and even although a patient can feel OK at time of appointment, direction to appropriate support services should be given as definitely needed later.
I can't find information on website as to whether this is offered through gynae clinic or who to contact.
