About: North Lancashire Teaching PCT / Emergency dental service

(as the patient),

Had my 6 monthly dental check today - as soon as i walked into the surgery i felt the dentist was arguing.

For 6 months this is my second visit to them, my previous dentist prescribed duraphat 2800 ppm flouride toothpaste.

Last time no problem prescription for 4 tubes as usual this time told i did not need it i was told previously that the enammel on my teeth was very thin and this would improve it.

This dentist told me the enammel was very thin and i did not need this toothpaste. I told her I was not coming here to argue with her and i wanted the toothpaste.

She did a prescription at my insistace 50ml i normaly have 4x75ml.

Then when she examined and cleaned my teeth was very rough with me. I will not be returning to this practice again.
