"Happy with the service I received, thank you"

About: Chase Farm Hospital

What I liked

Although I had some trouble making my initial appointment (I had to chase up the hospital myself, which in my experience has been the only way to ensure I was seen throughout my 4 months of treatment there) the staff at physio were always polite and helpful, obviously trying their best to deal with a high number of patients. The physio was very good, putting me at ease from the beginning and answering my list of questions thoroughly. All in all, very professional and caring.

What could be improved

Anyone who has visited the physiotherapy block of Chase Farm will know that the building leaves a lot to be desired; in an old annex with the peeling walls and generally worn appearance commonplace across the hospital, it all feels like it needs some renovation.

I felt I had to wait too long for my first appointment having had an operation through the fractures clinic, once my treatment at fractures was finished, I was told the physio department would call me to make an appointment, when I didn’t hear anything after two weeks I called myself, after some trouble getting through I was given an appointment the next day – happy to be seen that quickly but think this could have been done weeks before.
