What I liked
I recently accompanied my 88 year old aunt to be fitted with a prosthesis following a mastectomy last year. From the initial phone call to the appointment itself the service was excellent. The Support worker we saw was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. She took considerable trouble to find a prosthesis that my Aunt was happy with. The Support Worker also offered advice about suitable bra styles, offered her several to try on and gave us all the information we needed to order them. The room we were seen in was welcoming and the whole process was a very positive one.
What could be improved
It would have been convenient to have been able to purchase suitable bras at the hospital but I appreciate that this would probably require more space to store the stock than is available.
"A very positive and confidence building experience..."
