What I liked
My son was taken to ICU2 Ward on 10th May 2012 in a coma with a very weak pulse. The standard of care from the staff and doctors to both my son and my family was second to none. My son is still in the hospital, he has just been transferred from General HDU to Ward 8. The warmth, friendliness and dedication of all the staff has kept my family going over the weeks and for once i actually felt i could leave of an evening and trust my son's life in their hands. In my opinion James Cook University Hospital is the best hospital in the UK, always clean, the nurses always cleaning their hands and doctors. And the care the doctors showed in explaining things exactly was incredible. I could go on and on but i just want to say a big big thank you for saving my son's life.
What could be improved
The distance has been crippling for us, but that is all i can say.
Anything else?
I would recommend this hospital to anyone and always will.
