What I liked

My partner was rushed on to ward 2c for emergency Hydrocephalus surgery on 23/05/12 . He was very very poorly and I was extremely anxious and upset . I was immediately put at ease. . I cannot praise them enough . They acted so quickly , sat me down with a cup of tea and went through all the usual forms and procedures . I can honestly say that in my whole life I have never had levels of stress so high one minute and then to come down so quickly the next ! These ladies are true professionals and this should be recognised . Maximum care and compassion was given at all times by all the staff on ward 2c to both my partner and myself . Thank you also to the wonderfully gifted Surgeons and theatre staff at the neuro unit . We are so glad we were in your care !

What could be improved

Could have been better communication between Physios and Doctor and better After care offered i.e. Physiotherapy out patients at a nearby hospital ?
