"Going to North Devon A&E with my mum"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Accident and emergency North Devon District Hospital / General medicine

(as a relative),

Graham on front desk is absolutely superb. He helped my mum get out of the car, brought to A&E, booked in but we were going to then go back to the car. He insisted she came back as she was in so much pain and helped her down here - he's absolutely wonderful.

Cancer unit - Dr Groom's girl was superb - helped my mum dress which no one's done before. They've always been good. I always found that the cancer unit was the nicest one, I've been in a few. They always go out of their way.

I've been to A&E lots of times with different family. I always think we have to wait too long to be seen but I can't say I've ever been upset with how we've been treated - it's always been good. The staff have to work so quickly and under quite a lot of pressure possibly - they do a very good job.
