"Second to none care"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Cancer Services (Medical Oncology) Dr Gray's Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

My care at Dr Grays Hospital Elgin - Ward 5 and 7 and Aberdeen Anchor Unit Ward 17 has been second to none.

Very caring and overworked nurses and doctors who can’t do enough for one – that applies to all departments.

I do think that pharmacists should be allowed to give medication without interruption – does nothing for the concentration!

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to post these positive comments about your experience within various wards and departments within Dr Gray's. I am delighted to hear that all of your experiences have been positive, especially at what must be quite a stressful time for you.

With regard to your astute comment on the administration of medicines we are currently looking at how to improve this, especially in relation to the nurse not being disturbed whilst on their medication round.

Best wishes
