"Going to my GP with sinusitis"

About: Nottingham City PCT

(as the patient),

This story is about my GP surgery in Nottingham, within Nottingham PCT.

I suffered a very severe bout of sinusitis. The doctor gave me antibiotics which A&E staff later told me were contra-indicated by my liver condition. He was very reluctant to give me co-codamol and seemed to think I was a drug addict (other doctors gave it to me with no problem).

In the end I felt fobbed off with a prescription that treats headache with nausea. I had not mentioned or had any nausea and I think he thought it would get rid of me. I had only discovered what the medication was when I wasted £7 on it at the pharmacist. I am disgusted and furious.
