What I liked

Everywhere appeared clean and tidy. There was privacy when talking to staff.

What could be improved

A better explanation of what was involved would have helped. I wasn't told the name of the Doctor who was going to perform the gastroscopy. When I was in the treatment room, the Doctor was sitting behind me asking questions and inputting my answers on his computer, whilst I sat on the bed facing the other way. I wasn't given time to get used to the mouthguard (which hadn't been explained) before the 'scope was inserted. There had been plenty of time to talk to me prior to the procedure as there was a long wait for a 'scope whilst they were being sterilised.
