"Recent operation at golden jubilee hospital at clydebank glasgow"

About: Golden Jubilee National Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

From organising travel and accomodation to admission and discharge the service was outstanding in every way.

Everybody seems to know whats going on with all their patients each department is ready to assist when required. the most hassle free health authority experience i have ever had.

except for pre op assessment when i found the nurse was not at all friendly, it was a pleasure to be about these dedicated people and would make me fairly fearless should i ever have to return. approachable consultants, physios, occupational therapists, aneathatists, nurses trained or otherwise makes a huge difference when you are as anxious as i was and i just felt they were a huge big team with your progress and comfort paramount in there aims.

how refreshing these days.

Response from Christine McGuinness, Communications Manager, Golden Jubilee National Hospital

Dear mfp

Thank you so much for taking the taking the time to tell us about your recent experience here at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital.

We are always delighted to hear when patients tell us good things about our service and are equally happy to hear when things have not been so good. We will be sure to let staff know all of your comments, including the issue you raised about a member of staff not being friendly at your pre-op assessment. We want all of our patients to feel welcome and at ease so we will do our best to ensure that this does not happen again.

Best wishes for your ongoing recovery.
