"Post operative care following total hip replacement"

I attended the post op hip group at Calderdale Royal Hospital for six weeks following a total hip replacement at the hospital some weeks earlier.

The physios, OT's and other staff were extremely welcoming and conducted the exercise gym in a very professional manner. I was struggling with pain one week and a physio took me aside for an individual consultation which was informative and helpful in directing me to the correct exercises programme.

Each week there was a friendly atmosphere and the staff were supportive as we worked our way through around thirty or so individual exercises. Thanks to all concerned.
