"Going to Mount Gould and Plymouth Eye Hospital"

About: Livewell South West Royal Eye Infirmary / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I come to Mount Gould for my feet appointments. I think it’s wonderful here, the staff are kind, and the toilets are nice. I’m always seen on time. The café is lovely – it’s great to have it on site, and the mobility shop on site is very useful. Also, the parking is very good.

I also go to the eye hospital – and think they do great work. However, the hospital really needs a new building like they have at Mount Gould. I find the eye hospital too busy and hectic. Also, there is always a long queue up to reception – and just not enough seating. If you’re blind, or have trouble seeing, you need someone with you – but the parking is terrible, so you have to drop off the person outside, and leave them to find their own way. All this would be solved if they had a new building.

Dear Mode729

Thank you for taking the time to comment. Plymouth Community Healthcare is responsible for the Mount Gould site and it's lovely to hear such great feedback. The Royal Eye Infirmary is owned by Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust, so we will ensure that all your feedback is passed on to PHNT for their consideration.

Kind Regards
