"Taking a friend's daughter to A&E"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Accident & emergency

(as a friend),

We came to A&E because my friend's daughter got a nail in her foot.

The girls at the reception desk were pleasant telling us that there would be a wait, and how long it would be before we were called to triage. We were also offered a wheelchair.

The nurses were friendly, introducing themselves and explaining what they were going to do.

We were a bit irritated when we thought we'd have to wait two hours but it turned out we only waited 45 minutes.

Thank you for taking the time post on the website , I hope your friend'ss daughter is ok now. I will share your comments with the staff.

I aim to use the information we get from patients to look at ways to improve our service.

It is nice to be appreciated and certainly makes the job more rewarding.
