"Dealt with well for endometrial biopsy"

About: Ninewells Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I was taken in (bit late but you expect that) everything was explained fully and clearly, Despite having a dodgy back and a freshly sprained knee I had no problems with the legs in the air type chair, the actual sonar exam I found uncomfortable but that was because I'm not sexually active any more. The speculum was a bit problematic for the same reason, plus my uterus is retroverted, but this was dealt with almost painlessly, & very sympathetically. The biopsy was no problem at all. Much less painful than the period pains of years ago. So don't worry.
