What I liked

I came to the Minor Injuries Unit just before 7.30pm on saturday evening 26th May. I checked the the website before coming and found the unit would be open until 8pm. I had been involved in a major road traffic accident the day before and had a very painful left wrist. On arrival I was told the unit doesn't see anyone after 7.30pm though they would see me quickly. I filled out a form and then the nurse looked at my left wrist. She said they had no facilities to Xray but that she would put a splint on. I was shown to reception and told I could go. No splint was put on!

I cannot imagine a worse experiance!

What could be improved

The nurse had a very poor attitude and didn't even carry out her promise of the splint treatment. Why so insensitive an attitude to someone in pain and shock?

Anything else?

I went to Eastbourne Minor Injuries Unit and received exemplary care.
