What I liked
The welcoming nursing staff.
What could be improved
There are toilets in the dermatology out patients. There is a sign to this effect. It is about 4ft off the ground, next to the watercooler and there is a seat in front of it so if someone sits there, no one can see the sign. There is plenty of space higher up, and also on the wall where the window is, for such a sign.
First time visitors often have trouble finding the reception as I did. It is behind them, to their right and where one might expect the corridor wall to be. A sign on the outer door saying "turn to the right for reception" might help.
The area for the building bricks for children is on the main thoroughfare between reception and the actual clinical area. This is inconvenient for wheelchairs and the elderly. And do we really need the toys at all?
"As pleasant an experience as any hospital visit..."
