I should have had a complete hip replacement on the 28th - i waited all that day but the operation was postponed. The surgeon explained to me why and i understood and respected the reasons behind it.
In total i had waited 6 months for the operation, and in 2 weeks time i will see the consultant.
I have had wonderful care.
The wards are run very well, the nurses are lovely and i'm very impressed. I was on the Cedar Ward.
The moulded plastic chairs for orthopaedic patients are awful, they provide no support and are slippy!
