"Shockingly awful. Like being in a third world..."

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

What I liked

The rocking horse for my daughter to play on!

What could be improved

In our opinion, the apaulling attitude of the consultant Peadiatrician. A man with this level of experise, knowedge, and experience should not be in charge of our childrens health at this level of consultation. Out patient care is way below this high and mighty doctor in my view.

We met a whole team of 6 or 7 people in our consultation... No one else spoke a word.

After taking just over 57 minutes to get a parking space, I was more than a little dissappointed to miss the first half of my daughters consultation with the consultant, especially the part where he roughly grabbeb my daughter by her legs and nearly pulled her off my wifes lap. My wife commented afterwards that "you wouldn't treat an animal that roughly".

Any questions we put to him were met with a disgusting attitude which felt like "I'm far to busy to talk to you, and I have too many other patients to see today to hear your comments". He almost said this, but just stopped himself due to the other professionals in the room, including students.

He point blank refused to watch the videos we made for him, requested by our GP and Phychiatrists too (who sat sheepishly in the corner, heads down!). Nobody stood up for us. Nobody helped.

If you go to the JR childrens hospital, good luck. Don't expect much help though.
