What I liked
I was admitted to hospital with major stomach pains which turned out to be bowel cancer. 2 days after being admitted I was taken to surgery and operated on. Sadly this was christmas eve and I spent christmas day there. The staff were amazing never once complaining and always helpful although incredibily busy you only had to ask and they were there.
Since then I have been under the clinic for chemotherapy the doctor has been most helpful and understanding explaining my treatment options to me through out the process. The nurses on the chemo unit are beyond brilliant always smiling talkative and keeping the paitience upbeat I cannot put into words how brilliant each and every one of them are thank you all.
The clinical trials nurse has also been fantastic and such a great supportm
What could be improved
Honestly short of not developing cancer nothing my experience during this awful time has been made so much better by the support I have had from all the staff.
Anything else?
Walsall Manor Hospital has been brilliant and I would never wish for my treatment to have been anywhere else.
"Terrible reason to be there, great care,..."
