I came to the hospital via my GP for an Xray on a very sore foot. She told me to go to New Victoria Hospital and my husband dropped me off at the back door. I went in the lift looking for Floor E as stated on my card. No Floor E - so I walked from the back to the front of the building and could find no signs for Xray or an information desk.
I presumed that I must be in the wrong building and hobbled painfully to the old building. No floor E and only the wrong Xray!
In more pain retraced my steps to the new building and on going in the front door saw the welcome desk. The lady there helped me into the Imaging Department!
Suggestions:
*Put signs to Xray (not imaging) at back door.
*Give Directions to the Welcome Desk. (Only noticeable coming in, not going out)
When I did get to Xray, the staff on the desk and the lady who took the XRay both said that others had the same problem. It may seem obvious to others that Imaging = Xray but not to me!
Service in Xray was excellent and very fast. Thankyou!
However I left with my leg strained and my foot even more sore.
"Excellent Xray Service but so hard to find at the New Victoria"
