What I liked
The Consultant and his team team and the staff in the ITU did their very best to accomodate and perform emergency surgery on my wife who had to be rushed to Atkinson Morley after a CT scan, which was done in my local hospital, showed a large brain tumor which caused her to lose all consciousness. It was a near-death experience for my wife, I thought she wouldn't make it anymore. But the team's brilliance and supreme dedication to save the life of a fellow human being enabled her to gain a miraculous recovery. After more than 6 hours in the operating theatre, 2 days in intensive care and 2 days in the ward she was discharged from hospital and is now doing very well at home. She is now thinking of returning back to work as a stroke nurse in a few weeks time.
Anything else?
I think the facilities and the physical set-up of the neurosurgery department is second to none.
"Many thanks for the excellent, dedicated and very..."
