Feeling awful for 6 years with clear symptoms of Hypothyroid.
GP says lab results are normal, and my thyroid is normal, private doctor says TSH is elevated along with antibodies, I have a visible goitre and 3 nodules confirmed by ultrasound. Now having to pay to see a endocrinologist privately.
Have lost all faith in young female doctor who told me to get on with my menopause, its normal to put on 3 stone in 1.5 years, and joining Weight Watchers might help! Ignorant, dismissive and dangerous in my opinion.
