"I have recommended this hospital, wish I had been..."

What I liked

I was seen much faster than I expected - I recieved an appointment with 2 weeks of attending my GP and was operated on within another 4 weeks - less than 6 weeks from start to finish.

I felt I was consulted at every stage of both my visits and my opinions listened to.

I had a minor operation as a day case - all the staff were very kind especially the nurse who held my hand all the way through the operation. During the operation the staff explained what was happening and what would happen next.

Pain relief was avaliable as soon as I asked for it and I was sent home with plenty of pain killers.

All the staff on ward 7 worked well as a team and they made my visit as pleasant an experience as it could be.

What could be improved

Parking - but I know the staff are painfully aware of this problem.
