What I liked

I recently attended the EGH Swift Daycase Ward for a hernia operation and wish to thank the Consultantand her anaesthetist for their quite outstanding care, competence and consideration.. All the staff who dealt with me were excellent and I would ask for my thanks to be passed on to them.

What could be improved

Only the waiting time - I was asked to attend at 0700 but the operation was delayed until the afternoon

I was sorry to hear you were delayed until the afternoon. As you can imagine, there are many reasons why this could have happened and we'd be happy to look into the reason for the delay in your case if you wanted us to.
