"Excellent experience at Dumfries A+E after motorbike accident"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I had a motorbike accident and the couple who helped me brought me to A&E at Dumfries.

The service was clean and I was seen very quickly. Everyone was polite and not judgemental as I had a motorbike accident.

The doctor gave a thorough examination, x-ray and was double checked by an orthopaedic doctor.

I also got a nice cup of tea. The whole experience was excellent and thank you to everyone.

A visit to A&E is always a stressful experience so I'm really pleased to hear our staff made it as good as it could be for you. I do hope you (and your bike!) have made a full recovery now.
