"Good Experience at Royal Wolverhampton Hospital "

About: Wolverhampton and Midland Eye Infirmary / Ophthalmology

(as a relative),

My Husband suffers from Iritis, (a re-occurring autoimmune condition)

He started having symptoms on Friday, and by Friday evening it was clear he would need to seek treatment. We assumed he would have to suffer until Monday morning, when the eye centre opened; however after ringing A&E we found out a specialist would be available the next morning.

The reception staff were polite and helpful, we arrived at 08.30 my husband was seen by a specialist by 09.00 and we were out by 09.30. The nurses were really supportive and all the staff valued my husband’s knowledge of his own condition.

Dear "Juldq9"

Thank you so much for your posting, it is great to hear your positive experience which I shall pass on to our staff.

I hope your husband's eye is improving and he is not in too much discomfort.

Best wishes

Charlotte
