"Cataract services at Barnsley District General"

I have had a cataract removed recently. I would like to thank Mr Gerges and his theatre team, and Jean in admissions. I was of course apprehensive before I went in for the day surgery. I met with efficient polite and friendly care. Jane took me into theatre and was so kind.The operation was painless and a success and I was put at ease and well looked after by Mr Gerges and the team.When I went back up to the admissions department It was so good to be given a lovely cuppa and toast.I have to go again for the second op but feel much more relaxed about it. Thank you all. BDGH will always be my hospital of choice.
