What I liked

I am writing on behalf of my Mam who was admitted on 8/5/12 to A&E and then transferred to MAU - where I was allowed to stay with her for (23 hours) before she was transferred to another ward.

During this time I observed excellent care given by ALL staff to every patient.

In particular a Staff Nurse on MAU who personally cared for my Mam with so much dedication & kindness but not just to my Mam but to every other patient in her care. I was absolutely blown away.

They didn't just go the extra mile she like the lyrics in the song - she went 500 miles!

She was a ray of sunshine & I hope she is nominated for "Nurse of the Year" or whatever award she so rightly deserves.
