What I liked
I liked the nurse that cam on the night shift she was kind and caring and kept regular observations on my son.
What could be improved
The consultant was plain rude. He had no intentions of listening to me and my concerns regarding my son. He had made his mind up and that was that. They also need tighter controls on paperwork regarding patients as I was sent away with another patients prescription got all the way up to pharmacy to be told it was for a girl not a boy. I wouldn't mind I had queried the medication on the script as I thought it should have been different and the nurse reasurred me the consultant had written it and it would definitely be correct.
Anything else?
I wouldn't like to say the hospital is overall rubbish cause it isn't. My son has had surgery and an investigative operation here and the experience was totally different. I do genuinely feel it was the ward/consultant that made the experience nothing short of terrible. He was condescending and arrogant. As said this is one person out of many that work there.
"Humilating, disrespected and unvalued."
