"Care of my Mother at GRI and Golden Jubilee"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Cardiology (Wards 19, 24, 43a, 43b & 44a) Golden Jubilee National Hospital / Cardiac Surgery

(as a relative),

Had been taken to Golden Jubilee @Clydebank as paramedics explained my mother was to go there to have a stent put in. Arrived there, Mother was taken in to room we had to wait. About 15 min later Nurse came to speak to us said not sure if mother had taken Heart Attack or not but we will keep her in overnight and transfer her to G R I next day.

My Mother arrived at G R I next day. That evening I received phone call to go down to G R I. Was told my mother had taken a bad heart attack, was taken for scan, came back was more stable. Was doing well and responding to treatment over her time in G R I

Later got a call from G R I Corony care ward asked me to make way to Golden Jubilee as my mother was been taken there. To cut a long story short my mother passed away as she was being taken up in the lift @ Jubilee.

Was devastated when we arrived to be told my mother had passed away. In my opinion if my mother had been given that stent she still would have been here today.

Not happy I have so many reservations regarding my mothers care.
