What I liked
My Wife and I have just had our new baby Daughter delivered at King George Maternity unit.
The quality of care was exceptional, the staff were friendly, caring, supportive and reassuring. They consulted us about every decision, didn't assume anything and read the birth plan. They even considered myself and my Mother in law during our time in the unit.
Even when they were exceptionally busy, they were attentive and checked on my wife regularly. It was also good to be in the same room from arrival to the time to the time my wife was discharged. The Midwives and Staff that looked after my Wife and newborn are a credit and asset to the hospital.
Overall the unit was well managed with very caring and reassuring staff that made the whole experience as relaxed as possible.
What could be improved
The only thing that could be improved is the food but this is more of an issue with the Hospital in general than than the Maternity unit.
"Great care from brillant Midwives in a relaxing..."
