"Pain management group: a wonderful idea"

Last week I atteneded my first (one of four) pain management clinics. I arrived at the orchard park Health centre very sceptical that I would be able to be helped... but , I walked out elated, after meeting another 20 people, all from different walks of life different ages, size and creed.... I realised I wasn't the only one trying to manage my life around cronic pain, and the frustrations I felt, others were feeling too... what a wonderful idea to get people together to talk about their pain, and linda kept the group going so well on how to manage pain.... I am looking forward to the next 4 weeks...
