What I liked
My husband had a heart attack three weeks ago and had to have a double heart bypass. He is now home recovering. His care and treatment was like nothing I have seen before and I have been in a number of hospitals through family members being ill.
The wards, ICU and HDIC unit at this hospital are like something out of a film very high tech, modern, caring, helpful, clean, spacious and understanding. My husband had his own assigned nurse when in intensive care who was very patient when he was saying silly things high on morphine! Again in the high dependency unit the nurse was great. He was in a ward with FOUR beds where you could probably fit 7 or 8 with its own bathroom before the op and afterwards had his own room with his own bathroom which he welcomed to catch up on sleep.
I would like to thank all the cardiology staff and his surgeon.
What could be improved
Sleeping - he couldn't get much
"Excellent - if you end up in this hospital you..."
