What I liked
Visiting the haematuria clinic the only thing I liked was the way I was treated by the support worker I was initially seen by...such a shame his compassion and empathy was totally lacking in the rest of the staff.
What could be improved
Throughout my whole experience on 2 seperate occasions I felt I was not listened to. Instead I was made to feel like staff were just trying to push me into having a procedure I did not want, and would not consent to. When I saw the consultant I was not put at ease, not listened to, and not even given the common courtesy of a private appointment (there was a senior consultant and 2 nurses present). I found the whole experience upsetting to say the least.
Anything else?
I have made a complaint to the hospitals complaint dept.
"Poor."
