What I liked

This is a note of personal thanks to a member of radiology.

Her attitude, communication and professionalism was an example of excellence that your hospital should be proud of.

Her prioroties lay with ensuring the customer got the best available attention and she went beyond normal working practices to get the best for her patient. I briefly explained that I had a number of business commitments coming up in May and would have to cancel flights & meetings if I had to wait 10 days for results.

I was previously advised that the chest x-ray just taken could take from 7 to 10 days to get to my GP. Without making any promises, she advised that she had a couple of other patients to attend to first but if I could wait 10 minutes she said she would see what she could do. Lynn, on this occasion, was able to speed the process up and I am very grateful for her help.

This postive example should be put on her records.
