About: James Paget University Hospital

What I liked

Nothing Clinic Late Consultant Rude

What could be improved

Clinic could have been more on time or they could have offered to reduce parking fees. Consultant could have treated me like a person instead of a number. I would not have felt pressured to be seen by students.

Anything else?

I was seen in the general surgery clinic. I had been advised by another department in the JPH that the test the general surgery clinic wanted to perform on me were detrimental to my well being as I had had recent surgery at private hospital. so I went to clarify with the consultant. They all but called me a liar when I said what surgery I had previously had saying there was nothing in my notes. I suggested I get my medical records from the previous hospital but the consultant insisted if I had had an operation anywhere it would be in my notes. I did not have the suggested test and left feeling like I had wasted my time. If I have any say I will never be a patient this hospital again
