What I liked

The Nursing Staff were fantastic,nothing to much trouble,caring and always time to give a reasuring word.Doctors were friendly and invited questions and any concerns.They answered honestly and frankly at every part of my By Pass operation they expained what would happen before, during and after.

What could be improved

Food was not that good,perhaps good food but the way it was cooked and presented did not help the apitite.

Anything else?

I am against mixed wards.

We're sorry that you didn't like the food, and I've passed your comments onto our catering services.

We were slightly concerned about your point on mixed sex wards. We eliminated same sex accommodation last year. All of our patients now stay in same sex bays on wards or completely same sex wards. Some patients may stay on a ward which has members of the opposite sex, but they will never share a bay with them or the same toilet facilities.
