What I liked

The nursing staff was fantastic, kept me calm before the actual surgery, made sure I knew what was going to happen. Anesthetists explained what they doing as they were doing it.

What could be improved

The reception staff at the day treatment centre were very rude. Did not explain to my husband what was happening, he was left for four hours, not knowing if I was in surgery, how it had gone etc.

Thank you for your feedback about our nursing staff and anesthetists. I am very sorry however for your poor experience with our reception staff. It is clearly important to keep family members involved. I am sorry that this did not occur in your situation. Your feedback will be passed on to the manager of the Day Treatment Centre so that they can improve the service they are providing.
