What could be improved
I was given a prescription at the end of the appointment. Having been in leicester for hours having spent a very long time trying to park and reaching the limit of my paid for time in the carpark I eventually found, I left. I was told 'here is a prescription' at no point was I told it could only be picked up from the hospital. I didnt read it til I got home as I was having to rush.
No I am faced with taking half a day off work as I live 12 miles away to collect it, going through the same hassle of parking and waiting, rather than popping to Boots. No one can tell me why I can only get it from the hospital - it is a prescription for a minor matter. if only the doctor has said something. if you are not a frequent visitor to outpatients it is not obvious and I have discovered talking to other people it is a fairly frequent occurence. there has got to be a better system.
"frustrating"
