"Nottingham City Hospital Rehabilitation Unit"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus

(as the patient),

Nottingham City Hospital Rehabilitation Unit.

I have just finished a course of rehabilitation at the above unit. I have Parkinson's and had been finding mobility & balance a problem. After a detailed assessment of my general health & Parkinson's problems a programme of exercises was drawn up. At the same time some miner medical problems were addressed. At every stage I was kept informed of all my options and felt I had a say in the decisions made.

Having finished my course of rehab the improvement to my mobility & balance is very noticeable, with this has come an increase in confidence for which I'm very grateful.

I must say a word or two about the unit. From the moment you arrive at reception you are met with very dedicated and caring staff who try to make your visits as stress free and pleasant as possible, nothing is too much trouble. The staff are 100% dedicated and work wonders. Well done rehab you are a credit to City Hospital & the NHS.
