"waiting times for follow up appointments well outside 18 week target"

About: Broadgreen Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was being seen by physios for a shoulder injury. They saw me for 5 months before deciding I needed to see a consultant.

I saw the Consultant in February and was referred for an MRI arthrogram which I had this week, following an admin error delaying my referral for the test.

I was told I had to phone up to get an appointment for follow up. That appointment is for mid September.

There is no possibility of being treated within the 18 week target set for the NHS, leaving me with continued untreated pain.

Typical. They couldn't even be bothered to respond. Says it all.
