About: Community Health Services / Phlebotomy

(as the patient),

I am paraplegic and confined to a wheelchair, its great now to get a visit from the phlebotomy nurse.

In the past I have been visiting the nearest walkin center for my warfarin test. The nurse who visited me rang me the day before and when she came to see me was so very helpful and cheery.

she completely put me at ease because it was a bit strange someone doing something for me for a change. At the moment I am housebound so I was very glad I could get my warfarin test with no worries.

Thank goodness there is somebody there to help.
