"Care was first class"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Day surgery

(as the patient),

I was informed I would need an operation for a hernia. From the day of the consultation with the consultant I was treated with the upmost respect . On the day of my operation which was open surgery at Day Surgery Unit at The New Victoria Hospital in Glasgow, the care I was given was first class.

The staff were very caring and explained everything to me. The male nurse who was caring for me, his name was Danny was amazing, he could not do enough for me which I really appreciated because I was very nervous.

I would like to thank every member of staff for the great work they do I know it is a job to them but they were wonderful.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to provide your very kind and thoughtful comments. I appreciate that coming into Hospital for an operation can be a stressful and unsettling experience but I was very pleased to read that staff who looked after you were so attentive and supportive.

It means a great deal to staff to read these comments.

Once again please accept my thanks for sending us these comments.

Paul
