"Colonoscopy procedure at Tiverton Hospital"

About: Tiverton and District Hospital / Endoscopy

(as a relative),

My husband recently attended Tiverton Hospital for a Colonoscopy procedure. He is disabled, and although the preparation treatment at home was very unpleasant for him, when we arrived at the hospital, the staff were extremely kind and patient - they didn't rush him and the atmosphere was very calm and quiet, which helped a great deal. It is very noticeable that treatment in a small local hospital like Tiverton is so much nicer than being in a very large busy hospital where the staff are overstretched and have no time to spend with patients who need a little extra help. It would be wonderful if more services were available at Tiverton.
