"The Breast Care team are amazing but let done by..."

About: Castle Hill Hospital

What I liked

The Breast Care staff and unit are amazing and the work they do is outstanding. My experience during my cancer treatment was very good and made the situation less traumatic for myself and partner.

What could be improved

The resluts from having my breast cancer removed took too long, from arriving in the path lab to the consultant looking at them it took 6 days which I think is not accetable. It took several phone calls and cancelled appointment and PALS to find out what was happening and this caused me great stress and upset at the time.

Anything else?

The waiting times for breast cancer results need to be monitored and kept within the time frame given in patient leaflets.
