"Helpful, friendly, very good."

What I liked

We visited the children's A&E department on Sat 21st April approx 1230. My 3 year old daughter had trapped her toe in a door and caused bleeding/ problems with the nail. The initial A&E staff were very helpful and friendly, the children's A&E were very helpful and polite (although less friendly). The first nurse we saw was amazing, her manner and attitude was the best we have experienced, she needs to be recognised for her talent. The doctor we saw was very good, polite and friendly- as was the man in the X-ray department. The team there need to be proud of their service, many other hospitals up and down the country could learn a lot from them.

What could be improved

Paying for parking (as in most hospitals). Still cannot believe that you should be expected to pay, also being a coin machine makes it difficult as many people don't carry many coins around these days.
