What I liked
Exceptionally clean. Nice environment & ambience. Reception staff very polite & welcoming - put one at ease.
Great to see free parking - no stress. A nominal / fixed charge would have been acceptable.
What could be improved
The pre-op procedures ( in department but before endoscopy) could have been more friendly - more explanation would have helped. Little attempt to reduce my anxiety.
It was explained to me that the consultant had been delayed by an hour.
From my perspective, I hope the reason was serious - I do not mean this unkindly but I was never late for work once in the whole of my professional life - unless my employer knew in advance.
Anything else?
Some lack of clarity/ language difficulties over medical terms, procedures & findings. I am an intelligent British female.
